About

Azores Accel is an accelerator tailored to foster scientific and technological transfer in the agri-food and biotechnology sectors, offering expert mentoring and support to startups that valorize the potential of the endogenous resources of the Azores.
Our aim is to foster value creation & early-stage launch, helping innovators focus on market facilitation and development. The selected startups will be trained, mentored and benefit from several services, accessing an ideal test-bed for the implementation of pilot projects in the Azores. This program is financed by the Regional Secretary for Culture, Science and Digital Transition from the Azores Regional Government, managed by Terinov, the Science and Technology Park from Terceira Island and powered by BGI, the leading Portuguese Business Accelerator.

One of the highlights we like the most I would say that are the mentoring sessions. It is the most crucial for us: to check our product and to think "what kind of story are we going to tell to our investors?"
